Shu-min Peng

 

 

Clinical Research Project Manager

 

After graduating from medical school, Shumin became a neurologist and worked in the Neurosurgical Center of Beijing. In 1988, Shumin moved to Dublin, Ireland to pursue a career in research, where she worked at the Neuroscience Institute of Dublin and Beaumont Hospital. After living on two different continents, Shumin continued her journey to Vancouver, where she worked at B.C. Children’s Hospital with the pediatric neurology team and the University of British Columbia. In 2000, Shumin joined the Carruthers’ Research Team. In her spare time, Shumin enjoys reading, traveling, yoga and shopping with her daughter.

 

Jude Poirier

 

 

Clinical Research Project Manager

 

Jude’s background is in nursing, and her training and education was done at Vancouver General Hospital, University of Victoria and the University of British Columbia. Jude has worked in Research since 1997 and prior to coming to Carruthers Clinical Research she was involved in clinical trials in ICU, emergency, cardiac, anaesthesia, haematology and oncology. Jude has been part of the Research Team with the Carruthers organization since 2001 and believes that she has the best job ever! When not at work Jude can be found pursuing her addiction to theatre and performance art.

 

Rosy

 

 

Research Coordinator

 

Born and raised in Vancouver, Rosy graduated as a Registered Nurse from Douglas College in 1998. With a specialty in Critical Care, she worked in the Acute Spinal Cord Injury Unit, the Intensive Care Unit, and the Post Anesthetic Recovery Room at Vancouver General Hospital. Rosy joined the Carruthers in March '07. Living on the North Shore, she enjoys the beautiful outdoors, as well as painting, drawing, and cooking!

 

Janet

 

 

Research Coordinator

 

Janet is a Torontonian by birth but has also lived in Texas and Michigan. She moved to Richmond, BC with her family in 1988. Janet worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at St. Mary’s Hospital while completing her Nursing Diploma at Douglas College. After graduating in 1999 she began a full-time position in Neurosurgery at Royal Columbian Hospital. In 2002, she joined the Carruthers’ Team and has since enjoyed the great friendships that have formed. She currently lives in Vancouver and enjoys traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
